The room was neat and air conditioned with a private bathroom.

Magnificent and unbeatable location, away from the train station. Also - near to all the other pubs and cafes and about six miles away. Very amiable staff, brand-new, fashionable room with lovely four poster bed, updated facilities plus nice bath.

The period decor spoke volumes with unique furnishings like suits of armor and antique pieces, instantly immersing you in history. The lively pub atmosphere, kicking back with a perfectly poured local ale. Plus, the four-poster bed in my room provided that romantic touch.

Great location n loved the pub atmosphere downstairs. Watched the rugby match n it was so much fun. Room was clean n comfy. They had a great breakfast too. Super nice team and friendly.

Had a problem with lights when I arrived, but they fixed it fast. The wifi didn't work in my room, a bummer.

Unfortunately, there was no ventilation in my room as the windows didn't open, and I expected a four-poster, but ended up with a standard bed. Meals were a no-show, despite assurances about breakfast.

The room was huge and quirky, and we loved soaking in the spacious bath after a day of exploring! There were great relaxation spots, like the cozy lounge and a lovely garden to unwind. Just a heads-up, the lack of dining options was a bit tricky since we had to bring our own meals, but overall, we had a wonderful time! 😊

Stayed at the Red Lion, enjoyed the charming decor and friendly atmosphere. The location’s fantastic for nearby attractions, perfect for running. There was no breakfast available during my stay, which was a bit disappointing. A great experience.

I stayed here for 2 nights and loved the atmosphere! It's like stepping into a cozy chaos, super homely. The locals and staff really feel like a tight-knit family, so expect some laid-back boundaries. The lounge area is perfect for chilling with a drink. Just wish the wifi was a bit more reliable.

It was just an ideal choice for resting at all in Llangadog with high value for money. The convenience shop across the street was perfect for grabbing breakfast in the morning. Don't forget to check the shop for food options early!

It would be ideal to arrive with your own meals since dining options are limited in the village. The staff was friendly, offering assistance .

Recommended for a unique stay

It's a wonderful old building with loads of character and we had this amazing four-poster bed set in a rich royal deep red theme it was like sleeping in a piece of history and the staff were just really good they were really helpful even when I asked about the names of the rooms which was a bit of a mystery.

It wasn't exactly cheap but honestly for a night and the experience we had it was still acceptable.
